About Patricia Richardson
I qualified as a Solicitor in 1993 and as a higher court advocate in 2006
I have over 20 years experience as a senior Government lawyer where I led a dedicated team of lawyers and support staff in the prosecution of a vast range of criminal cases including highly complex fraud cases, serious assaults and high profile cases.
Since leaving the Civil Service I have dedicated my legal practice to ensuring that high standard, professional legal advice and assistance is affordable and accessible to all, particularly members of vulnerable communities and their families. My previous experience listening and supporting vulnerable victims and witnesses within the criminal justice system and in my role as lead lawyer for Elder abuse casework has provided me with the personal skills to support and assist my clients in the resolution of their legal issues.
I am proud to have made the transition in recent years to becoming a trusted and respected private client specialist advising and supporting my clients in relation to the drafting of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and their applications for deputyship orders and many other legal issues.
I am a trained community mediator and dementia friend and also have experience as a disciplinary tribunal member within the education field. I also act as a Charity Treasurer/trustee.
